The VCJN facilitates and coordinates interdisciplinary projects that critically examine the transformation of criminal justice in an increasingly digital environment. By connecting researchers and practitioners across disciplines and jurisdictions, the Network fosters collaborative research on virtual criminal proceedings, procedural fairness, vulnerability, and the future of courtroom technologies. The VCJN serves as a platform for sustained international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the development of innovative research agendas.
